2. My Whole Day Fits Inside — and I Can Prove It

Here's what's in mine right now. My wallet, my phone, a paperback, my sunglasses, a water bottle, and my keys.

All of it in, then the top cinches back down over it. The first time I loaded it I went back to the tote to see what I'd forgotten. Nothing. It just holds more than a bag this cute is supposed to.

3. A Pocket for Everything I Grab Ten Times a Day

The tote was one big black hole. Phone, keys, and cards all sank to the bottom, and I dug for them in line at the coffee shop.

Here, the phone rides in the front pocket, the drink and the keys in the side pockets, the cards in the zip pocket inside. I reach for one thing and come back with that thing. I haven't dug for my keys since.

4. Your Backpack Can't Do This at Dinner

The backpack came off every time I needed anything in it — zip, dig, zip, back on — and at dinner it sat on the floor by my chair.

This one stays on. Shoulder for the 8 a.m. commute, crossbody by noon when both hands are full, back on the shoulder for dinner — one strap, adjusted twice. Soft plaid, a toggle that cinches the top, a real zip underneath.
